Well said Crystal He also stated as Tom said, that he posts topics for discussion. This is in the dating/relationship forum as a topic of discussion. The misc/advice is for personal advice and so far I haven't really seen him for personal help. I think some people mistakenly thing if a topic is posted it's always about them and sometimes it's not... It's just adding something interesting to talk about. Hope you find that Dutch guy Crystal... There was a time when I was open to meeting a foreigner, but I'm not sure that would work out very well. I prefer to stay closer to home (USA) and my boys. I believe in miracles, so maybe that will happen here 
Same here. I've also had a time where I was open for a relationship with a foreigner, but that ship has sailed. I might have contemplated USA when my girl was there, cos then I'd be closer to her. I do not want to be far away from both. But after my relationship with a Brit I'm not really up for someone from another culture anymore. Only someone from the same Dutch background, with similar norms & values (the typical Dutch ones I mean, not individual ones). And now that both my kids are within 14 kms of me, no freaking way am I going abroad, haha. Well, holidays, but that's it. |

Are your not really sure who you should be with Oh believe me, I'm good at determining whether a man would be a good lover to me. So I guess the question is should you date even if you're not sure if you're really ready.?... are do you just put yourself out there and hope for the best.?.. or do you sit alone.. for who-knows-how-long working on you? If I wasn't ready to be with another man, then I would listen to what my heart wants and what my gut instinct is telling me. If I truly wasn't ready to date again, I'd do the right thing and not bother unless I felt ready to again. I know that I'm ready to date again, because I get huge crushes on men. If I end up really fancying someone, then I try my level best to make it work. No point in sitting around. You won't find a new lover by sitting around the house and wishing it. You need to get yourself out there. |
