100 deg F (about 38 deg C) wow...double digit humidity , 14% no wind to speak of but it is morning here so the oven is in the warming stage...

Today was 23C But it's getting warmer and warmer and Thursdays temps of 39C (so arond 100F). 36C where I live but inland it'll be 39C. And that's what they say, it usually gets warmer. Good lord... We're not prepped for that. Houses over here come with heating, not with airco :/

38 c 100.4 f Just heard on the radio in Lindbergh, Belgium Yeah, same in Limburg, the 'leg' of Holland that dips in between Germany and Belgium. The hottest or coldest place of the country, hihi. So I guess the eastern parts of Belgium are that hot too. Sometimes living near the coast isn't that bad!!

Couldn't get it to go down further, even though outside was cool. Now it's crept up to 28C indoors It's now sunny (24C) and very humid as well and the sun is shining in at the front of my house. Just closed all my blinds to try and keep the front rooms cooler. Tomorrow is to be hot and sunny too with 28C forecast.

I've been keeping front blinds closed too cos the sun is on it for big part of the afternoon. I only open them around 4. It's annoying to not have a view, but thank goodness I have normal daylight as I deliberately bought off-white double roller blinds like below. That way I can keep them closed and not sit in semi-dark. I go nuts if I don't have light, haha. Tomorrow's going to be the hottest day of this scorcher over here too.

I looked into blinds that are supposed to reflect the sun but I'm not totally convinced they work so will do a bit of research first.

Cool! My mother has one of these (don't know what they're called in English???) over her balcony. Helps to keep things cool really well! It is actually cooler in her flat than it is over here in my living room, even though the temp here is lower than where she lives! I can keep it from getting in but of course it's still directly hitting the walls and window. With one of these things you don't have that. Makes a difference of some 4C which is quite substantial.

It's an age thing crystal, I used to know lots of stuff, but not these days I went to the pyramids in 2008 and amazed to see all the Chinese visitors using umbrellas! But it kept the sun off them.
