Yes, I agree that not many People Read.
I must admit I am not much of a Book Reader either. I would rather watch the Film.
However... the Only Author and Books I have read were from James Herbert... the Rats Trilogy and others like the Fog. I don't know quite how I came to reading such Graphic Horror, I guess it just Clicked. I have tried reading other Books but I lose interest very quickly and I fall asleep. But at least I have read books.

So I got roped into a book club on WhatsApp by a friend lol. Last month we read I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll-- dreadful book! This month we are reading Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury, which is much better lol.

I am also reading I Let You Go by Clare Macintosh.

I finished writing my first novel in May. Almost done editing for the 2nd time (2 chs left) and then I'll be searching for an agent and querying!

The Alchemist its my fav book since i read it i read it all night !!

Just finished "The Waiting" by Michael Connelly

Im currently reading James Patterson The number one Lawyer. It’s fast paced justice/ law / crime reading at its best. I’ve just purchased four more of his books. Dean Koontz is another author I enjoy and anything from Stephen King. But the best book I read last year was by Laura Dave entitled The Last Thing He Told Me. Scott Pratt is an enjoyable writer. I mean to read a lot this year. Please try a book it is a great suppressor of vices and urges and expands your mind and outlook.

Notes From the Underground - Fyodor Dostoevsky

Been trying to reread some of the mandatory classics and dig a bit deeper into the authors, the is of the latter. I enjoyed Dostoevsky back when Crime & Punishment then Poor Folk were assigned in college lit classes, and enjoyed them even more rereading recently. But I read The Idiot for the first time and fully realized the genius of Dostoevsky's character writing, those C&C opened my eyes to it. This, being more of a personal, somewhat autobiographical, was different but I rather enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
