Hi share your view who have been/want successfully convert their best friend in marriage

I have had a best friend but we never got married, he asked. I declined.

Friends don't always marry.

no friends never turns into marriages i guess... once u made a good friendship dont break it..

Perhaps the tendency for people to think of friends and marriage as separate things is a contributor to so many divorces and re marriages. I would love a best friend to become something more and Im totally open to it. I did marry my best friend when I was very young, we matured differently and it ended, which could easily happen with someone that was not a friend as well. But I have to say that our friendship did not. We were fortunate for that. I think the lasting nature of a friendship comes from the openness, respect, honesty, and acceptance, as well as the lack of responsibility for each other and being able to walk away to separate lives. Friends is easier with less expectation.

But if that can evolve to something more, I think it is, for me, a very much desired circumstance rather than the relationship that is only EVER a romance.
