There is not one way. It all depends on the woman and the situation. You need to be charming and have at least a few working brain cells.

Just be yourself! She will either except you are reject you.

Sometimes everyone we like is not always attracted to us.

And, how exactly did you start 'this' conversation?

By asking a question.

very well said

and i see it happen all the time , the one person changes to attract another
in the end , neither are happy ,
the one because they are someone they ain't
and the other because they can tell

be with someone you can let your hair down(be yourself with) and it doesn't trip them out or send them looking for someone to put one of those cool jackets (normally a white or off white color)that make you hug yourself all day and tie in the back so you cant stop .... even when ya wanna

best wishes on your hunt

Simple exchange of pleasantries should do.

I’m thinking maybe you should take the women’s advice. The men aren’t thinking so good.

I gather that'd be the knife and not the jalapeno thingies, whatever the bleep jalapeno is, hihi.
I got a knife like that somewhere. Not allowed to have it on me, we have strict weapon laws, which boil down to: no weapons at all.

A society without weapons sounds nice Crystal. Do you feel it's a safer community because of it?

Oh.. jalapenos are hot peppers, green in color and round. You slice them and put them on all kinds of dishes or some just eat them by themselves.

Okay, but different from chilis? Or is that just cos of the colour?

I've grown up in a country without weapons. Don't know when firearms got illegal, quite some time ago I gather. The law on knives and other weapons (bows, crossbows etc etc) got stricter or implemented somewhere in the 90s I think.
But yes, it feels safe!
To me the thought of living in a country where everyone can legally own and carry a weapon makes me feel unsafe.
I think it has that effect on everyone, that's why you don't want to give up on your weapons. It raises this sense of "Yeah, but if I got nothing to defend myself, he/she does! Sod that, I want a weapon as welL!"
When my girl had moved to the USA, she too had a handgun in the nightstand at some point. That's cos of the knowledge that if someone breaks into your home they will very likely have a gun. So you want one too. Makes you feel safer.
In a country where no one has a gun -okay serious criminals may, but they're not the majority of people. And burglars usually don't have firearms either- you do not get that feeling of needing to defend yourself.
My daughter doesn't have a gun anymore now she's here as it's not allowed. I doubt she misses it, I doubt she's even thought about not having one in her nightstand no more.
Catch my drift?
NOT having guns makes you feel safer. It's Law of Attraction in a way: Why would you want/need/buy a gun if you feel safe? When you feel safe you wouldn't even think about it. Buying one means you don't feel safe, that you feel you have to defend yourself against everyone else who has a gun too. Basically it says you don't trust your society, or fellow people.
If I'd move to the US I'd want a gun too, while here the thought has never crossed my mind. Reason: I don't feel safe with so many people around who own/carry guns. It automatically rouses fear and with that the need to also be able to defend yourself with equal measures...

I agree Crystal... I would prefer to live in a country that is weapon free, for the reasons you mentioned. I don't have weapons and don't ever plan on having them. To me that would suggest I need to protect myself and would invite people in my life to validate that thought process. Like you said... Law of Attraction.

I believe a form paranoia is created from the idea that "we need to protect" ourselves. It creates that need to watch your back and take precautions when going out into the world. If you see your environment as unsafe and full of people who will harm you, things/people will show up that affirm that. When you see your environment as safe and full of peaceful people, things/people will show up to affirm that.

One of my ex's felt it was necessary to pound in my head that there are "bad" people out there because I only chose to see good. That's one of the reasons we're not together... I refused to adopt his way of thinking. Yes, I'm aware that there are people out there that hurt others, but I choose to see and believe that most people are good and we don't need to carry weapons to protect ourselves.

Looking back throughout my life there were far more peaceful and caring people who have shown up in my life than those who have harmed me or others. When the ones who did hurt me showed up, I had that victim mentality.
