Why do we try?
To be left high and dry.
What is the use?
They seem to have an excuse.
Why expose your heart?
Just for another to tear apart.
Why even tell?
Then sit back and dwell.
Why do some play a game?
That is such a shame.
Why say hello?
Then have then throw you a blow.
So why do we try so hard.
Cause it is like our calling card.
Why even bother?
Cause we want to be with another.
Why do we lay out our heart?
In order to find that one that will not part.
A game it is not.
When looking for that truelove knot.
Why should we say hi?
Cause it is better than saying good-bye.

Boy, I just get through reading a joyous poem of yours about love...now this...I am just glad I have found the love of my life that I know won't turn away from me, abandon me, give our love up, and wants to spend the rest of her life with me...one day Kristi, the love of your life will come too sweetie...

yep..better to feel something then nothing

keeping our souls alive is important no matter how hard it hurts sometimes.

I am perplexed but happy. How can you write so many inspired poems, so many, yet each one, beautiful, like a new born flower, like an angel, who for the first time, heard god speak!
