Does anyone else get nervous?

Nope because I don't go on a first date with any expectations. That way, you can be yourself and not put on a 'show'. If the first meet goes well and you both decide you wanna meet again, then the next date can be more relaxed as you've already shown the other person who you are by simply being yourself. |

I use to serve him coffee where I worked last year. But I'm still kind of nervous. Thanks for the advice.

Nervous on a first date? That's a tuffie. I don't remember since my last first date was back when I double dated with Moses.
 All I can say is I feel it is human nature to be nervous on a first date especially with someone you like. Just be yourself. If the other person likes you because of that then chances are there will be a second date. If there is a second date because you pretended to be someone else, then you will have to pretend to be someone else all the time afterwards.

I think it's normal to be a little nervous, especially at your age. Even at my age, 56, I would be a tad bit nervous. Just be yourself and let things flow naturally. Good luck to you and have fun!

As I responded. I talked to my dates we had understanding before any date. I was myself in conversation I I don't just Meetup with any Man. I like them to know all about me Before they Travel to meet me. It Works for Me on other Sites. I don't go with any Flows. 
Age isn't a Factor in meeting and having a Great date. The Men are Older.  :

I like the Nervous excitement and anticipation of being attracted to someone .. embrace it and have a wonderful first date

To this day (I'm ancient now) I am terrified leading up to a first date or meet.
Best I can do, is (as suggested) keep my hopes and wishes at bay, bit that unfortunately doesn't reduce the panic level. Good luck. |

It 's normal to get neverous when someone is in first date.Most of people try new thing are excited, neverous even a bit afraid because they haven' t experienced before, don' t know what to do. When do second time, it would be better more.
