Living in the Northeast, there are a lot of reminders every day of it. For instance, I am about 7 miles from the homestead of one of the pilots, and driving through the interchange that now bears his name always gives me a shiver.

Do I believe there was a conspiracy? I have reviewed the arguments pro and con, and I personally am not swayed that it was a set-up. I can totally appreciate the people who believe it was, though.

I am not fond of the fact that the government at the time used 9/11 as an opportunity to strip us of some of our rights, but any privacy we had taken from us then is matched by the privacy citizens give up freely these days with phone apps, etc.

It will take another 40 years before we will really be able to assess what 9/11 did to us as a people and a country though.

Meanwhile, back in this universe,
no rights were taken away from Americans.

Also, it saddens me to see that false conspiracy theories are still being promoted.

Maybe those not close to it have a easy time " moving on".. but I don't. We in NYC and Jersey... lived it.. every day for months and months.

I stood on the banks of the Hudson river and watched them fall with my two sons.. not one word was spoken. I smelled the burnt concrete and dust for weeks. I lost friends in those buildings.. a lot of friends. One jumped.. from the 90th floor.
My brother was a NYFD chief and he was in tower two when it fell, he was hurt.. bad.. very bad.
My other brother works for the NYC DOT and he drove one of those dump trucks up that ramp from ground zero to the S.I. landfill for " bone sifting".. every day for 8 months. He has dealt with the health affects

Both with the emotional scares

I came home to the Marine recruiter sitting at my kitchen table 1 month after the attack. As did 3 of my other brothers.
We sent 4 of our sons into that war to answer that attack. 3 Marines.. 1 Army.

All fought.. and thank God.. all came home

And for those who have " moved on"... if you would have saw what we did. you would never " move on", the same way... never.

And for those " conspiracy " bent people. I know what I saw with my own eyes. There was no " pre- exposition".. no plane parts " bouncing off" the towers.

BTW... in talking to my FDNY bother afterwards... they knew damn well ( the firemen there), that they couldn't put the aviation fuel fire out with.. water.. which is what they had.. as they walked up those stairs.

Oh, the Patriot Act made some sweeping changes to surveillance, wiretap probable cause, detainment etc, that effected ALL AMERICANS, all in the name of Homeland Security.

The whole TSA was a charade (Through consulting, I have inside knowledge of what an abject sham that whole group is) that also effected ALL Americans, and doesn't make us any safer.

Remember too that we burned one of the most respected American's reputation, Colin Powell, by sending him to the UN with 'proof' that Saddam had WMDs, and a massive underground bunker system (built by US firms, but somehow never found) where he was hiding all the WMDs. Oh, and I think we are still looking for the connection between Iraq and 9/11. I was looking forward to seeing Colin Powell run for president, but they burned him, all for the sake of personal revenge against Saddam

the pre explosions most talk about are inside the building , i remember watching video on it ,the tv reporters where asking the fire fighters that where in the building where talking about it when it happened... i remember them talking about explosions coming out of the basement ... as far as i know it really hard to drive a plane in a basement , but i have never tried it .... cause that is all there was on tv to watch for like 5 days

I was on a Jet Blue flight very close to final approach into JFK the day of the "attack" happened, seat belt lights had came on as we watched the second plane hit.

Should this have not happened I would have been bused to the CNN studios where myself and other inventors would have been filmed for air time.

I've spent more than my fear share of time looking into what really happened, testing since, lost records from building 7 and it was an inside job nobody will ever change my mind.
