There are maybe 25 pictures of me *total* in existance..that includes school pictures.
I just never was big into having my picture taken, even when I was younger, thinner, and *all that*...
(my late husband wanted to take pictuires of me..I didn't like that..there are maybe 4 of us *together*...in 12 years)

I grudgingly take a picture every year to put on the dating sites (usually in the summer)..

I had a guy say to me when we met a couple years ago...in a *flat monotone voice* "you look like your picture"..

Men are Very Visual beings. But some know how to look pass the outside and get to know the woman as a Person.

They had a woman in their lives and what you see is the result of it!! Stress is a nasty thing in life.

I think the last woman I met off a dating site, the picture was nearly 10 years old and about 40 pounds lighter!

Cranky, how many divorces you been through and how many thousands of dollars have YOU given away?? When it comes to divorce and divorce lawyers, most women turn in to thieving leaches!!!!!! I just keep hoping there is an honest woman someplace with her life together - probably wishful thinking>

I think you have serious issues. You can’t paint everyone with the same brush.

Your feelings about women will prevent you from ever finding the one you seek. She probably already spotted you and ran the f@ck away.

marriage should not be in your future
or not without a pre-nup

perhaps, you are the kind that should not even live with someone
ask yourself
what is it then that you are really looking for?

in order to be loved
really loved you must be able to give love in return
and in order to do this
you must allow yourself to open up to another human being
this means putting yourself in a vulnerable position
yes, it is risky
but without risk you will not get big rewards

but perhaps a good, loving, nurturing, healthy monogomous relationship
is not what you really want from a woman

you will not get it from wishing and thinking
it would be unfair to her
to bring baggage you carry from someone else
and dump it on her doorstep



perhaps some self reflection time?

All Women are Not the same, we all want different things in Life. Many are more desperate for Relationships than others , some are more Kind and excepting of men's faults. Thing is meet someone you can connect with as a partner, mate.

Doesn't necessarily Exist in Online meets.

Thank you for your posting. You are right on many fronts as it concerns me and I have spent some time reflecting on who I am and what I want from the remainder of my years. I realize it is not what most of either gender looks for especially on a dating site like this. Most of the ideas you have about what you desire in a relationship will not fit me.

I'm really not, but I've heard that many times before both here and in the real world. Even my younger daughter has commented on it... I'd be happy to have his money to go along with the looks.

I’ve been chatting online with a guy and he seems very nice. Last evening I mentioned his profile pic and he said “oh that’s about 20 years ago”.

We are supposed to meet in person this week. What if he looks nothing like his picture? What if he’s fugly?

Ask him for a current pic. There are zero acceptable excuses for him to have one.
