I do. I always check the weather before going out and depending on the forecast and temperature I will wear the appropriate coat.

Yes, what else would you base your choice of clothes on when it comes to warm or cool outfits?
I know there's some people who live by season, meaning that April first they switch of the heating, regardless whether it's still freezing, get out their summer's clothes and start wearing them.
I can't believe that, I guess they're cheap, lol. I had an aunt who did that and we were temporarily staying with her. I just came back from living in the tropics for 2 years. Suffice it to say it wasn't fun.

Main thing is, I have waterproof cycling gear. Highly recommended in Ireland

I had jeans, sweater,and a jacket on and it was still cold.

50 here I wore a light down jacket but no socks ...hate socks gotta get a tad cooler for me. Spring n fall always fun to people watch some wearing t-shirts and some with winter parka

Oh, yes, surely. I think we Hamburg people are born with an umbrella. And when the rainy day turns into clear blue sky, we forget the umbrella in the S-Bahn, train, bus, shop ....

My grandma.. rest her sweet soul, knitted me a nut sack warmer to be used in these brutal NY.C. winters. Being that lot of the work is done outside.. it really helps. everybody knows.. once the nuts are frozen.. that's it.. days over.

I enjoy seeing the geniuses wearing a huge puffy down winter coat with shorts and sandals getting coffee at the gas station in the morning and it's 33 degrees out.
Although, it is close to Halloween. Maybe they're all going for the Mr. Incredible costume so are out early trying to find the red spandex jumpsuit.

Absolutely,my current base is a tropical one.This means,it allows me to wear my signature clothing,clad in shorts,shirt and flipflops..as simple as that...very laid back.

I try to dress for the weather, but that's virtually impossible. I live in New England after all. And you know what Mark Twain said about New England weather...
