“On my Mind’

As I listen to the call of the wind.
You’re the only thing on my mind.
It seems you slipped in.
You got right under my skin.
It makes my mind wonder.
As I hear the sound of the thunder.
Outside the rain begins to fall.
In the distance I hear your voice call.
Like a whisper threw the slight breeze.
Is this my mind playing with me to tease?
And in the end it will all seem.
Like nothing but a dream.
My mind seems to go off on its own.
Off into the unknown.
Not knowing were to go.
It just goes off with the flow.
Where ever it ends up it will be.
There is never a guarantee.
It seems to always be on the move.
Thinking about life and what we must improve.
At times about the things that go wrong.
As I remind myself to remain strong.
Those things that come our way.
They will work out at the end of the day.
