Ur a tower junkie?! i just gained respect 4 u mandrinker
I think eastwood should play cort hes too old now for roland, viggo mortenson would be a good roland
now to slightly un-hijack the thread did u notice that wolves of the callas chapter setup was a spoof on harry potter?

Those weapons the wolves used were called "Golden Snitch". King is a Harry Potter fan and that was his shout out to JK Rowling.

My ex and I got two copies of Wolves of the Calla, so that we wouldn't have to fight over the book. The DT series is only enhanced by first reading The Talisman, Black House, Salem's Lot, The Stand, Eyes of the Dragon and about 50% of Kings other books. I loved how they all got pulled together into one story. The idea that our universe is just a single atom in a rose petal in another universe is pretty cool. I don't think that most people would even get the story, but it's King's greatest work. The first book is kind of slow, but the others are page turners from front to back.

Yeah i cant wait 4 duma key to come out I really hope its tower-related maybe king will write a patrick danville story thatd b really cool, its like hes a kid in insomnia who has some sort of weird ka on him (much like a certain boy wizard who this thread was about) and then the next time we see him hes kidnapped by an empathic vampire who cuts out his tongue and makes him draw things into existence with his amazing power huh? how did dandelo get him thats what i wanna know

I am firmly convinced that Dandelo was a member of the same species as the creature from "IT". I can't remember exactly why I think that, but did you get the same impression?

oh yes king has invented a species of monster/supervillain that feeds off of emotion, type 3 vampires, tommyknockers, it (which also bears an odd connection to the CK and mordred), tak, dandelo
mayb the low men 2 I call em empathic vampires
plus there was the stuttering bill reference

The movies need better screen writers. The books - no complaint.

 The last book was increadible. Harry potter movies though need improovement. I could not wait for the first three to come out on dvd and say all the movies in the theater. This last one was not too good. I personally liked the new POTC movie. Disney was better than Warner Bros this year, I think. Either way i like the SFX in the movies. Now Live Free Die Hard ROCKED!!!

this is true but Order of the Phoneix wasnt as bad as Goblet of Fire. GOF was one of my favorite books in the series and they totally ruined it. i thought he sounded whiny and its all about me. out of the movies i'd say Prisoner of Azkaban is the best. the director from that one might come back for the last movie.
