Depends on what the compulsiveness is. Assuming it’s “ cleaning”. Then yes I would take that over a slob.

I really could not decide.

relationships should be mutual, and the idea of them doing all the cleaning would drive me as nuts as the idea of me doing all the cleaning. If we could live separately though, maintaining our own residence, I prefer the partner who is a neat freak.

No more personality disorders. Been there, done that.
Sloppy housekeeping depends on what that means.
I've learnt that clean & hygiene can be very different, not just from person to person, but also in another country.
My ex was from another Western European country and he -and ppl in general over there- have a totally different view from what 'clean' means. Their version of 'clean' to me is close to 'health hazard'. Not joking.

If it is normal sloppy house-keeping, one can decide to do a better job, work together on it, or get someone in.

That's hard to decide. It would depend on how bad the OCD is. I'm a relatively clean person, so I like things in order, but not a clean freak.
