Topic: What are you doing? - part 3 | |
---|---|
i told you to stay out from under the bed Always ALWAYS fill up the space underneath the bed so this can't happen! Suitcases, boxes, spare parts of laminate flooring and so on... Nightmare to clean, but that's a nightmare during the day which keeps me from having nightmares when it's dark, hihi that just gives them more places to hide. |

They don't like wide open spaces, they want to be able to come and go undetected. |

Reading about Feng Shui and what it says about never storing anything under the bed. It messes with the the Chi-energy that needs to flow freely above and below you.

Reading about Feng Shui and what it says about never storing anything under the bed. It messes with the the Chi-energy that needs to flow freely above and below you. Correct, but I have no other place to put it and it's gotta go somewhere, hihi. I sleep with a lot of crystals around me, they will help get the energies sorta right again. And I'm not sleeping in between the door and the window, nor does the mirror reflect directly onto the bed. I'm sleeping with my head to the NE, North isn't possible and would put me directly under the window, which is real bad -and also the reason that doesn't feel nice. I really have no other space to put the things that now live under the bed... Isn't that silly, cos I have a 3 bedroom house to myself, haha. 1 bedroom I must say is smaller than the average walk-in closet in the US, it's only 2 x 2 meters. |

I was reading more about it, and it says so long as everything's been cleansed properly if the space is needed, then use it. It's funny, I was just playing earlier and googled to see if I was accurate and found the information on Feng Shui, lol I wondered about that with sleeping, my head is positioned to the Southwest, I face Southeast when I sleep. I always heard that your head should be in the East. The only way I can get my head in the North position is to turn around on my bed. Have my head at the foot and vise versa. |

Best is to have your feet direction South, head north. Head at the south is not so good as south is fire, too much action and energy and it can cause you to not sleep so well or restless. Unfortunately it's not always possible depending on the room, doors, windows and so on to sleep that way. I'm quite sure there's ways to alleviate that, but I'm not sure what. I do know a bit about Feng Shui, but not when it comes to such things. I do know mirrors are often used in Feng Shui, but then you have to know how otherwise you can make things worse. Or maybe something that represents water or earth so calm the fiery energy. Nothing that represents Air as air feeds fire, makes it more intense and so on. Oh well, if you wanna know, Google it, haha. I tend to sort these things out with crystals. As for it having to be clean: any place in a home where dusts or clutter easily collects is an indication of energy stagnating as well. That's why it's especially important to keep such corners or places of a home clean. Guess I have to vacuum under the bed again, grmble... I got a very heavy mattress... |

I seriously prefer having stuff under my bed... I did get over Friday 13th, but some images never really leave your mind anymore, grin. Gosh, I hated that movie! I was only 15 when I watched it, took me forever to get over it. |

I guess it's time for me to clean my room as well.. under the bed and in the corners that is. I found a few different perspectives about the sleep positions. One said something about it depending on which Hemisphere you were in. I'll see if I can move things around a bit, if not I guess where it's at will have to do until I leave here. I'm just now familiarizing myself with Feng Shui. I'd have to learn more before deciding to go with it's practices. |

I don't mind horror movies, but prefer the ones that have a little more plot to them... which I guess makes them more suspense that an actual horror flick. I liked Frankenstein and those kind of movies. |

I liked Frankenstein and those kind of movies. I don't like horror much anymore either. At the time I did, I was 15 when that one came out. In a way there's always some sort of pull to watch a horror movie. I suppose that has to do with the same reason that people stretch their necks when they go past an accident, hoping to see how badly people got hurt. That's this odd thing about humans that I don't really understand, although I guess there's a reason for it, and I too got that. It seems to be some bleeped up instinct, and I think it's this exact same thing that makes you want to watch horror. But I don't, I also prefer thrillers and/or action thrillers. |
