Topic: Ladies, what do you do if you're picked up by a bird? | |
---|---|
Say it's a nice day and you're taking a nice walk somewhere, when out of nowhere, a giant bird swoops down on you from above, grabs you by the arms with its claws, and lifts you right off the ground.
How do you react? Are you scared? Excited? Angry? Happy? Do you try to wriggle free? (I'm writing a story where this happens to a female character, and I'm curious how other women here would react in that situation.) |

I'm not a woman but think about it for a sec.
A bird large enough to pick up a woman and fly away with her would have to be massive and very strong. Since most birds that pick up animals are doing so to eat them, and because these raptors have very sharp claws and since no woman is going to extend her arms to allow a bird of prey to pick her up, chances are the birds talons will puncture the abdomen or the neck upon seizing the woman and kill her. That's if the impact doesn't snap her neck or spine and kill her instantly. If she survives all that, it would certainly be fear she feels before she dies. |

But in my mind, this bird isn't out to kill. He just wants to take a lady for a ride. yay !!!!!!! a day off work .. wonder where he is taking me Maybe he likes you! But would you feel nervous that your feet are off the ground and all that? A lot of funky threads floating around today... It ain't paranormal if it's normal! |

In the story does a Tyrannosaurus rex then grab the bird out of the sky and eat both of them?. |

But in my mind, this bird isn't out to kill. He just wants to take a lady for a ride.
Okay, but considering how big it is and the fact that he picked her up in his feet, when he lands he will crush her, unless he drops her first, on a rock. What you need is a huge butterfly to pick up your woman. Well, two huge butterflies. Basically, any flying creature that can hover...a hummingbird? That would have to be a HUGE hummingbird. |

I like Blondey's explanation. Or he's a huge bird by day and turns into a prince at nighttime, so he takes her to his castle... where they live happily ever after once she breaks the spell with loves first kiss |

Last time I saw this happen the woman bit the bird's leg and she fell several hundred feet.
It wasn't a pretty sight. |
