Thinking... why do most men always come up with boring chit when you start talking... I know I can turn it around, but question is, is it worth it? If he cannot even come up with something fun, interesting or good to talk about... I would so love to come across a man with whom I don't have to use my 'tools' to get a bit more fun and liveliness in a conversation as opposed to name, age, height, do you have children? I mean FFS!!! Sorry, needed that minor rant. But it's just so bleeping tiring. Wrong dudes then hun... Yep... sigh... Sighing cos it means I need to do more work, lol. Work on self I mean. Thinking Crystal will work on herself? Nooooooo Crystal. You are nice the way you are. If you cannot find a guy to have an intelligent convo with then it is their loss not yours. |

I stopped trying to make conversation with men. If they are such dullards as to not come up with anything, then we aren't a match.
Being an assertive woman with men, to have a successful relationship, is a lie. And I'm certainly not going to suffer men with the mental capacity of celery. |

Is it possible that maybe just maybe he’s not really that in to you to want to have an intellectual conversation? Maybe he’s just looking for a hookup? Not to say that you are.... but most intelligent men intellectually speaking and emotionally speaking are not gonna waste there energy if they don’t feel the woman isnt worth it. Same is true for a woman. |

I tried Pinterest as I was told many people are on there these days, but it's just not my place to be. Then they told me of Instagram, and I really like that! You can even have your own TV channel on there (IG TV)! Ain't that grand? Finally I'm on tv, haha. As for buying... I love Ebay  Just bought a wonderful watch there for some $3,80 and another on the way for $1.50. Lord knows how they can make these watches for that little money, still make profit AND ship it to me for free? Quartz watches...

It's more that you often end up talking about 'How was your day?' and 'traffic was bad' boring mundane stuff if you follow the average man's lead, even when they're intelligent. Then you can quite easily guide it to a better quality conversation, steer it away from those uninteresting things, but I'm not ready -and thus not willing- yet to make the effort. Cos I know there are some men with whom you don't have to do that. Some. Few and far between. According to dating gurus (male ones) men often don't know how to get a good conversation going. There aren't many men who are truly confident. I also don't want an intelligent conversation, I want a quality conversation. So also emotional depth. Making a mental connection is not so difficult but that's not what makes a man fall in love, NOR me. I know you can sometimes have a great conversation if you steer it towards more interesting things. Men often seem quite happy too when you're able to do that as they aren't really interested to hear that your work day was busy either. But as it is I can't be bothered to make the effort. No just yet. |
