Billy Joel had 100 consecutive sold out shows at Madison Square Stadium. That's record breaking.

Saw his Piano Man concert here YEARS ago.... most excellent.

I'd have to say ELPs Works tour was one of the best...

Oh oh.. or Moody Blues with the Nashville Symphony orchestra... oh oh..

Or Volunteer Jam V...

I saw Billy Joel live at Madison Square in NYC about 1988. New Years Eve. It was a really, really great concert.

Just be careful, too loud music does damage hearing, which is not cool.

Yep, Stu. If you like concerts, go to a concert. Can't get away from noise.

Concerts are a compelling media for artistic expression. Just remember to bring hearing protection in case they have the music too loud. I did lose hearing for certain tones at one of them one time. Usually I get recordings of them online.

Sorry offtopic

I've seen/heard over 2,000 concerts and my hearing (surprisingly) is actually great.
My vision (physically) not so much.
You do make a great cautionary advice though.

I saw the replacements, queen, clutch, atomic bitchwax, dandy warhols, kinda pat benatar(left early), the feelies, peter case, eagles of death metal, fratellis, henry rollins hmmmm may be more but caint think of em.

I have hearing damage but its minimal.

I've seen Clutch countless times.
Grew up with them.
All the members live all around me.
They are literally playing 2 miles from my house August 2nd with Black Label Society.

Pretty crazy.
