I’m planning a boob augmentation real soon and was wondering if any other ladies underwent boob augmentation?
Did you go for saline or silicone implants? Did you have it under or over the muscle?
I plan on going over the muscle, 400 CC , cohesive silicone gel implants.

How have your implants settled?
Are you satisfied? Do they feel and look natural?

My goal is more projection and more cleavage.
Nowadays I still have to wear a cleavage enhancer. I want my boobs to be really close together.

How much did you pay and how long was your recovery time?

I hope to be a solid D cup after the implants will have settled.

I was really hoping for some. I just wanted to sit in the back.. shut up and learn abit

Like does the doctor have samples up on the wall, to show the different sizes?

Does the price go up with the cup size. Is there a warranty on them?

And cleavage enhancer...what's that?, us guys know nothing about that kind of stuff

I swear, we won't say anything we will just sit back hear and shut up.. and learn a bit.

Well, the price doesn’t go up per cup size, you choose an implant and a certain range of implants ( between 200 and 500 cc ) is X amount of money for the implant. Then the surgeons fee, the consultation, the hospital fee and the anaesthetics + the fee of the anaesthesist are what makes up the whole price.
You also need a special bra for the first 6 weeks which adds to the cost.
A boob augmentation in Belgium is between 2500 and 4000€. A boob augmentation in the USA is between 5000 and 10000$. The price also depends on whether you choose saline implants which are silicone shells filled with salt water, or if you choose silicone filled silicone shells.

The technique varies as well. The surgeon can place the implant right under the glandular tissue of the boob without pulling up the muscle or he can place the implant under the muscle which makes for a harder recovery because the muscle is pulled up a bit. It depends on if the patient has enough pre-existing boob tissue from themselves. If the woman has enough boob tissue from herself but wants an augmentation, then the implant is placed under the glandular tissue of the boob. If the woman has poor amounts of pre-existing boob tissue then the implant is placed under the muscle to hide the ripples of the implant.
There is also a new technique called lipofilling. They harvest fat from other parts of your body and fill the boobs with that fat ( fat transplant ). A moderate cup increase of 1/2 a cup size is possible with this technique. It’s also very expensive and you need to return more than once because the transplanted fat is digested by the body for more than 30%. So you need multiple rounds. Can easily cost 10000$ for a half cup size increase.

Then there is a special technique for women who have gone through a boob cancer treatment and have had their boobs amputated. They harvest fat from the stomach to reconstruct a new boob pouch and fill it up with a silicone implant. That way the woman has naturally appearing boobs without the ripples of the implant being too visible.

Boob implants need to be changed every 15 years on average. They can leak, rupture or cause boob pain because capsular contracture can develop itself in the pouch of the boob. The boob tissue starts forming a capsule around the implant which can cause pain and infection. Sometimes that is a reason to take out or exchange the boob implant.

The process is slightly different for trans women than for cis women. Trans women need to be on hormone replacement therapy ( estrogen ) for more than 1 year. After 1 year most boob growth has been maxed out and if the trans woman is not satisfied with the size of the boobs then implants can be inserted. Trans women often have wider shoulders than cis women, causing a need for larger implants to make the body look proportional.
Trans women also in most cases never exceed a B cup and 85% never exceeds an A cup. Only 5% makes it to C cups or larger. I’m in those last 5 % because I started young enough ( I started at age 19 , am 22 now ) . Most trans women start in their late 30s, 40s and 50s. At that age hormones are less effective because your body doesn’t produce sufficient amounts of growth hormone anymore. So that’s why boob growth is subpar in these people who start at later ages.

Cis women have higher risks of boob cancer so this also influences their choice to decide on implants or not. A mammography is harder to interpret when the woman has boob implants.
The risk for boob cancer in trans women is very low. It’s higher than in cis men but lower than in cis women.
Trans men ( female-to-male ) have higher risks of boob cancer even after breast amputation, than trans women have but lower than the risk cis women run.
Boob cancer is genetically influenced. Hormones have less to do with it. Most women develop boob cancer in menopause ( between ages 40 and 69 ) when hormones are at their lowest. Fertile women with high estrogen levels in their 20s or 30s very rarely develop breast cancer when they are still fertile. This shows that female hormones, estrogen, have a protective effect on breast cancer despite what was believed for many years ( that they cause breast cancer ).

Boobs are fun but there is a whole area of science behind it. They are more than two round sexual objects.

Hope you found this informative :-)

thank you very much.. it is most informative

And I agree, boobs are fun. I try to leave science out of it when I am playing with them ;)

But one thing that I never really understood was.. why?

Why do women get breast enlargements?

Is it to attract men? Do women gauge woman by the size of their breasts? or is it a sense that your body is somehow not conformed?

Because, I don't know about other guys, but the size of a woman's breasts doesn't mean too much to me. And I would not really like the idea of a plastic pouch under my mates skin.. like that. I think that would bother me a bit. Not in the sense of not being attracted to her anymore but in the sense of " why did you do that?"

So... why do women do that ?

Personally, I don’t do it to attract guys. I purely do it for myself. When I look in a mirror and see my breasts they fill me with happiness but my desire is there to have them bigger. When I wear a push up bra and give someone a hug it gives me a nurturing feeling. I love hugging other people or having their heads rest against my boobs.
It gives me motherly feelings. I love turning on my stomach and feeling my big boobs push me up. It’s a feeling that fills me with confidence, with happiness.
Personally I also want an augmentation to balance my breast and hips out with each other. I have very wide hips but my breasts are too small to balance them out. Also, despite having a good amount of boob, in clothes they look much much smaller which saddens me.
I also want to be able to wear a very thight deep cut out blouse and having my boobs being accentuated by it. For that, the upper fullness needs to be more voluminous, hence boob augmentation. But I want them to look natural so I’m not going too big. I don’t have any ambition to be a porn star.

My sister was married and got it done. It wasn't for her husband but for herself.
I think when you are way out of the norm and can't wear most women's clothing (tops)it can get annoying. By everything we hear, woman are supposed to have breasts. If you are never more than a guys chest size, heck most guys chest size are even bigger. You just want to look like a woman when you are. If she was just small I don't know if she would have done it, but having nothing is a different story. It sucks! I will say after seeing hers I'm not sure I'd ever go that route. But she is happy, so that's all that matters

Beats me but I don't think any woman is happy with the way she looks, so perhaps by changing her boob size (which she feels is the most feminine part of her) she thinks that would make her happier in herself and more appealing to the opposite sex. Maybe low self esteem has a lot to do with it too. I honestly don't know but that's just my take on it.

As for me, I'd be looking for a breast reduction!

Myself, I never understood it either I was blessed with more then what I call is enough...

My daughter was not. I never realized how much it bothered her for she was small.. It bothered her enough that she did all the research found the best doctors in the area and even set it up and had her grandmother co-sign for her due to no credit.. Before I even knew..... then it hit home how much of her self esteem it had taken.. I told her that I would have co-signed for her if it meant that much to her.. I did go with her the day she had it done and stayed with her... And yes she did not go huge she went to a size that fits her and potions out her body...

She was like a totally different person afterwards it is hard to say how big of a boost it gave her.. And no she was not even dating at the time ..my son in law is the first guy she ever dated..

She had hers done at least 13 years ago has two kids which she was still able to breast feed....which many that has has implants can not.. To this day she has not had one problem with hers..

I have no ideal what kind she had put in just know that I would even consider a lift if mine looked that goodwhoa

All I know you have to do what makes you happy never change anything unless it is what you truly want.. But still in the mean time one must work within to find true happiness....

My breasts (if you want to call them that) are very sensitive. There have been times in love making, I want my partner to grab more or suck more of it. Then I realize, oh he can't there no more there for him to grab. It feels so weird me feeling like he needs to grab more when there isn't any there. That might be too much info, so I apologize

I am close to a C-cup but they are still not proportional with my hips. I have had lots of hip bone growth on hormone therapy, but not enough boob growth to balance it out. I also want it to make my shoulders look less wide. My shoulders are in the wide range for a woman, because I have been through a testosterone-dominated puberty. This would make me feel more confident in my body. And that’s what matters to me. So that’s my main reason for this augmentation surgery plus the fact that trans women get boob augmentation refunded in Belgium. Health insurance pays for it.

Some women do it for enhancing self esteem, you would be amazed at the transformation once its done for some.

For some its to attract me more guys who are into women with larger breasts.

My assistant's sister had it done 7 years ago her reason is she was self conscious she complained that her breast size( she was flat) was the size her brother and if she cut her hair like her brother people would think they are a twins.

You can see she has breasts and she is happy about it , they are normal size not like the ones you see on strippers , sorry exotic dancers.

When I had thought about it before, I had only considered getting small cups to go with the rest of my body. I didn't not want to get large ones, although they probably would have felt large to me.

150 CC is one cup size. You can book a consultation to try a few sizes. They have prototypes and surgical bras to try them in a doctors office. A board certified surgeon is what you want. RealSelf is a good site to find examples of a surgeon’s work.

I am going for 400 CC. That’s 2.75 cup sizes up. They say that more than 3 cup sizes up looks unnatural.

If you have had a mastectomy, they will want to do lipofilling first to create a pouch for the implant.

Some insurances cover breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. Worth it to check out if yours does?

The only problem I see OP, is that D is waaaaaaaay too big
on a person..your posture and back will suffer tremendously
with that big boob size. Experience is speaking here.

You are probably too young not to know that less is more,
that size will draw a huge amount of unwanted attention
which you say you do not seek.

Seriously, you can enhance a C cup but a D,
can topple you right over.

Humm see to me that is not right my daughter had to pay for hers to me that is cosmetic surgery and should not get it free.. but then that is just my thought...

Financial should not have anything to do with ones decision getting it done..

I so agree with this..

Was out riding a couple months ago with a group of women we pulled in to a burger joint this lady got out of her vehicle that had a boob job she was thin and had like Dbl D's I'm sorry but she looked like a clown with two big balloons on her chest.. I mean it was down right weird looking. Looked like two basket balls on her chest she was just a prancing and had a muscle shirt on ... I mean if men like that they can have it..

If your going to do it go a size smaller first believe me having size D's ain't what it is all about.. I would love to be just a C instead..

I’m 5 feet 5’’7 and 150 lbs.
My shoulders are a bit wider than I would like.
The plastic surgeon’s assist said that I am petite but that my shoulders could maybe balance it out.
My shoulder width is 16 inches which is considered large.
So that’s why I want the augmentation to draw less attention to my shoulders.

The thing about unwanted attention on my augmented boobs is something that I will be indeed a bit afraid of.
Thing is I have to come over professionally because I’m in law school and I think I won’t have many clientèle if I look like Candy the stripper because many people will assume things about my intellectual capacities.
But still, I want it so badly.
Maybe I could wear hoodies to work to hide them a bit and take the hoodie off when out of a professional setting.
