I think we're off topic... bigsmile

Maybe while we're traveling to the ends of the earth to meet the love of our life, we can take a little detour to say hi flowers

Once we find him that is biggrin

I'm game but don't hold it at the top of the Empire State Building on New Year's Day. That happened in Sleepless in Seattle and made me get tears in my eyes.

I think a lot of these posts are a result of watching too many chick flics. Very romanticized but not terribly realistic. spock

It's not fantasy, I did it & almost moved there. Flew 1314 miles several times a year. I was ready to get married.
Physical separation is the main challenge my opinion.

And to address chemistry... Skype with someone a lot you will feel something one way or the other.

That's how I acted with my son when he was that age.

long distance relationship is delicate, i believe it works mostly for married couples, try all means to live with your spouse no matter what because there are so many temptations out there, we're only humans and not perfect i'd rather not leave room for temptations.

The aim of the question is about the process of starting a distant relationship, would you trust the process and its success till the big step of marriage?

True love knows no distance and stands any test of time. Finding it in mingle is not impossible but so dang hard as it is hard enough in real life already. I will travel to the ends of the earth if i know and i am sure that we both feel that we have found ourselves in each other coz the feeling of being lost finally left smitten

tears tears tears

So true these words. Sure, I have to travel or invite somebody, nobody else on this dang island here.

Thanks pumpi, that's encouraging and shows that it can happen, even though sometimes it doesn't flowerforyou

Aye. It can happen. But I won't expect anything at the start. Sometimes you have to broken hearts, which are so difficult to mend. But if two broken hearts help each other to mend ... well, you never know flowers
