Topic: Brother assaulted for a few euros at a party | |
---|---|
My brother has become the victim of violence for 10€ which is converted to USD about 13$.
My brother is 18 and this guy is 21. This happened at a party. A girl who saw everything happening and who we wanted to ask to testify at the police station, was threatened by the agressor of my brother. He told the girl that she would face worse if she testified. Fortunately the girl still testified and didn’t care about the guy. The guy is well known by justice. He was in liberty on a few conditions. He is a drug dealer who also bashes random people for money. The week before he hit my brother he assaulted a girl and a guy ( a couple ) for the handbag of the girl. Police already told us that he won’t probably be put in jail but that he will have to pay a certain sum of money for the damage he did. My brother can’t go to work for 5 days. My brother is 110 lbs and 5 feet 4. The guy is 6 feet 2 and 200 lbs. The guy was accompanied by two friends who are also involved in his shady practices. He is a drug dealer that deals in the areas of railway stations and high schools. The father of this guy has spent 6 months in jail for having stolen multiple new cars. I’m so mad at how justice can fail sometimes. This guy doesn’t care about filing complains against him. As long as he can deal and as long as he can harrass people, nothing is solved. |

IF THIS IS ACTUALLY TRUE,it sounds like there is A LOT more to this story than you are telling us!!
what did your brother do to make this alleged 'drug dealer' want to beat him up? cuz, usually, when a 'drug dealer' beats somebody up,it is for a VERY specific reason!! OR,if he did it because somebody PAID him to do it,like you are suggesting, what did he do to make somebody mad enough to spend money to have him beat up? cuz,REALISTICALLY,people dont spend money to have somebody beat somebody else up,unless they DID SOMETHING to warrant this desire of violence,do they? and,you claim that even though an eyewitness testified to what happened to your brother, the authorities dont want to do anything about it?? hhhhmmm.... the whole thing sounds prettty fishy to me,the way you tell it! at the very least,i would suggest to your 'brother' that he needs to start hanging around a better class of people, and stop going to parties with drug dealers who are prone to acts of violence. |

He took the 10€ my brother had in his pocket. It was the drug dealer who wanted the 10€ he had in his pocket. He did this to multiple guys and girls between 16 and 20 years old over the last weeks. We have a horrible justice system here in Belgium. No money to put people for “ small crimes “ in jail. They get to pay a certain bail that’s all. |

He beats up people often for 10 or 20€. He is a shitty drug dealer. He sells to teenagers and early 20s. The father of this kid is a big criminal though. Has spent enough time in prison. Doesn’t seem like he cares what for criminal acts his kid does. |

Usually drug dealers do not want to bring attention to themselves and here anyway they make more in one night then most peolpe make in a week
But there are those very low level drug dealers who will rob you. We have had undercover cops here robbed and a few shot during " buy and busts" over the years. So, it is rare ( being robbed by a drug dealer) but it does happen. |

But it’s not a professional dealer either. It’s more a crappy street kid of 21 that went on the wrong path because of how he was raised at home.
Cops don’t do much about it. They let him come in to hear his side of the story and same day he can go home. Our justice system is very softy here in Belgium. Murder is 7-8 years behind bars and you are in liberty again. Professional stealing is 6 months behind bars if you stole for 25000$ or more. Street criminality is paying a bail and it comes on your criminal record but nothing more. This guy beats up young people weekly. He is well known in the city where I live. He beats up boys and girls. Usually at parties where these kids gather together. He is dealing at the railway station and usually sells to influenceable children of younger than 20. His father is a criminal in car trafficking. Has been to jail multiple times. Funny story : His aunt of the drug dealer, is my general physician. At least one person in that family who is decent. Just for back ground information : they are from Morocco originally and the father has served 3 months in Morocco in the past. |

The cops can't stop the low level drugs sales and they do tend to ignore them unless it happens right under their nose.. here anyway.
Same if you get your car robbed, they will take the report but you will never see your car again.. never. And they are not going to look for it either, unless it rear ends them at a traffic light they have too much other stuff to do in the metro areas... they really do. |

If he was in the USA.. his chances of meeting his maker would be greatly increased. He'd mess with the wrong person and get shot right quickly.

Your brother is going to have to grow up a bit and start avoiding parties he knows large, violent people will attend.
The first thing police want to know in an assault report is why the victim was there to be assaulted and feeling entitled to be there isn't the world's best answer. Society at large doesn't exist to preserve the bourgoisie fictions of youth, he's a little primate who needs to avoid bigger primates when they're likely to be violent and definitely avoid places he knows pathologically violent ones are likely to attend. It's what chess clubs were invented for. If he wants to be social with people who also socialize with pathologically aggressive primates he's going to have to toughen up so he can look after himself. Carrying a weapon isn't the answer since it shows premeditation of violence and makes your bro more criminal than the criminal he wants to feel secure around. He's going to have to develop his natural weapons and that means bulking up physically and training in some martial arts to learn how to move. People who run around assaulting others already get that from experienced streetfighting, which is more valuable so even then it's just going to be a tool to hopefully help an escape with minimal injury when assaulted in future. And definitely start to think tactically since you don't want to wind up cornered by large, aggressive primates intent on doing you injury, a military cadetship or reserve service is a part time thing more useful to do with his spare time than sitting around crying about being assaulted over a bag of chips and watching tv. The question becomes how concerned is he really about his role in life and what is he prepared to do about it? Because if he wants to play the forlorn little victim society will accommodate him for that too. What it won't do it chaparone him, entertain his sense of entitlement, or act upon his governance. You live in Belgium and are adult ages. If you wanted to you could take a train to Moscow or a ferry to Malta. Don't tell me you can't change your social environment. If it's related to economics then concentrate on developing that instead of going to parties where you get assaulted. Like I said and the police will say the same thing, humanity may not live up to our expectations but when it doesn't that means it's time for you to grow up and start dealing with it. Want violent people put behind bars? Become a cop or a lawyer as a better form of concern, start with a law degree, get a part time job in a restaurant if you can't afford it, work the problem where you can actually make some headway instead of sitting around crying. It's what not just men do, adults in general, cool chicks handle things this way too. |

If he was in the USA.. his chances of meeting his maker would be greatly increased. He'd mess with the wrong person and get shot right quickly. If you took a firearm to a party and shot someone dead for committing misdemeanor assault you might get a little surprise when you're the defendant in court instead of the dead body you made. Bringing the gun is premeditation so you're looking at 15 to life or even the death penalty if the tearful, drug dealing family make a convincing act about how you stalked and brutally murdered their poor little boy. I'm guessing since it was such a quick go-to act the prosecution will be able to show a history in your background of building to an act of murder. They'll paint you as a wannabe serial killer and you'll be in an episode of true crime wearing an orange jumpsuit with a cell mate named bubba whilst you wait for execution. Probably not the best way to go in this situation. But a funny story nonetheless. You could label it Be a Bigger Criminal than the Criminals because you were Self Justified. No, gun culture isn't the answer. Not legally and not even if you get away with it and his friends come around to your house with assault rifles. |

a 13 dollar drug kingpin, would find himself duct taped to a tree. |

In my world, a 13 dollar drug kingpin, would find himself duct taped to a tree. True! I can’t understand how nobody learns that little drug dealing jer* a little lesson. He’s definitely been influenced by his father. The father is a car trafficker and criminal himself. But I’m convinced this won’t last. He will sooner or later meet someone that dares to beat him up. The cops promised to keep an eye on his dealing practices but I’m sure they just said that to keep us calm. After all, he’s only 21. I wonder how much worse it will get once the kid reaches his 30s or 40s. He already has a long criminal record. I doubt he will find work when they do a back ground check. |

That's high school age in the states and that sort of thing happens here regularly and for much less than 13 dollars. You can get dunked in a toilet for a ham sandwich and like in Belgium they get a reprimand if that.
