I rarely have any leisure time. That might mean watching the local news, lol. If it's raining outside and I'm not feeling all too good, that means microwave popcorn and an old movie.

Last few months it has been working on my practice/business. Setting things up, doing courses & 5-day challenges for women. And lots of Tarot & card readings for my YouTube channel.
I have spent more time with my kids as well and I absolutely love that! |

Weekdays 40% employment work, 20% family 20% house/yard work 20% playtime/relax.
Weekends 60% family/play/relax 40% employment work/house & yard work. |

It varies widely over time depending on available time, obligations, needs, and wants.
Many months ago it was reading researching and writing. Months ago it was filming, editing and target shooting. Recently it was bushwalking and cycling. Now it is going through all my gear and throwing out stuff, getting ready to move house, - not so much fun except for finding good forgotten stuff hidden under other junky stuff. |

After 40 plus years of working my butt off I decided I had enough so I retired and now I have plenty of leisure time. I spend it on all night ghost hunting, writing poetry, yard work, car detailing, dog sitting, road trips and whatever my mind can come up with.

I've been getting up at 5:30am for years so now I still wake up that early but I go back to sleep knowing that it is my choice to not get up and not work's choice. Doing what you want to do whenever you want to do it is heaven. |

Doing what you want to do whenever you want to do it is heaven. Good for you. I usually do staycations, and imagine the late lunches with friends, biking to the fresh market, spending time cooking healthier meals, volunteering at the shelter, puttering with my flowers and taking naps in the shade will be what my retirement will be like. God, I hope so. |
