Tawnya...you should have told him it's an adult gift shop...maybe he woulda stuck around. lol
Burgundybry, nothing wrong with being a dairy manager..I grew up on a dairy farm (not that I'd consider myself "grown up") and my mom is supervisor of a milk plant. |

I hope I got that right. Spaz...you may have gotten that right, but...I haven't yet asked a man to support me. He doesnt' know what I have or don't have in the bank....and I don't know what he has or doesn't have in his pants. I'd like to keep it that way for a while. |

That would be funny! but I already seem to attract the type that only want to hook-up, I think telling them that would probably make it worse. whats a girl to do?? |

It makes me giggle when guys (and I'm sure girls do this, too, but I can only speak from personal experience) will suddenly disappear when they find out I have no job. I'm looking. I'm interviewing. In fact, right now I'm waiting for a call to find out if I start work tomorrow, yet, seriously...I've had guys just close out the IM window after they've received that information. Cracks me up! It's not like I asked to borrow money. I figure, you got past the size of my ass...and now it's the size of my bank account that matters? *giggle* sounds like a tactic to stick to weed them out early |

I would not ever disrespect a lady...Working or not working..We all hit hard times at times. I treat a lady the way I want to be treated, with class.

yep. i had a similar experience when i told someone here that i run my own cleaning business. funny thing is, the money's GREAT! how many people do YOU know that make $25 an hour?! i can work only 30 hours a week and have free time to pursue my hobbies, take vacations, and i even have an IRA! i guess it's the TYPE of job that's so bothersome. a MAID? ew. (shudder) the guy i was talking to was supposedly looking for "friends". me too. i'm not here to date, and don't respond to anyone who appears to be looking for a mate (sorry guys-- not tryin to be mean). so i'm wondering why a dude who is looking for friends would be so discriminatory. don't we all have friends who are unemployed? i live in MICHIGAN fercryinoutloud. half the STATES out of work!!! |

Not sure whast the corilation(sp), between working or not, at the moment , has to do witha person's personality, or qualities ?... but if you are that shallow ?.... good luck ... thank goodness my Mom raised me different ... :)
look at the person, NOT the purse ... |
