I’m not really sure, as I haven’t caught them in the act. I have squirrels, chipmunks and bunnies back there regularly eating my Columbine and Petunias. One pot of Columbine has nothing but broken stems left. grumble

I don’t want to get rid of the critters though. I like having them around. I’ve already named this year’s babies.

Hummm... squirrels usually don't eat flowing plants. Don't think the chipmunks do either,.... bunnies will though.

Maybe try putting food out for them?..

Get a trail cam, then you'll know.

Could be deer.

I bet it is Bunny Foofoo! And it’s my own fault too. I leave the ivy and clover that grows at the base of my fence for them every year. This year the powerwasher kinda wiped them out. Ugh! sad2

I’ll start putting out some berries and veggies for em. Poor babies!

We rarely see deer around here. They can’t jump a 6” privacy fence, can they? If I have deer, I’ll have to think up some names for them too.

If it's happening at night, it's probably bun-buns since you have a fenced yard.. depending on the fence height, it could be deer, but they'd probably find something easier to get to first.

My fence is 6 foot tall. It has some torn or rotted wood at the bottom. I see where my bunnies come in. They’ve always been welcome, but this is the first year having this issue. It has to be that I destroyed their little ivy and clover that grows by the fence. Maybe it will grow back. I just threw some chopped strawberries back there while making a smoothie for lunch.

How’re you feeling today Stu?

No, deer probably wouldn't attempt a 6' fence unless being chased. I've seen them jump pretty high though..

Hopefully the bunnies will be happy with your offerings.

Not as well as I'd like. Hate that I'm having to use my cane again. I was doing pretty good after the PT for my neck and was working on walking more normal and posture, then in an instant it all went to heck again.

thanks for asking.. flowers

Sorry to hear it Stu. Take care of yourself and feel better soon. I know it can be a back and forth battle with pain with these things. I had a couple of rough years in PT myself for a back injury. I’m stilm not in the shape I’d like, but pain free most days. You’ll get there too. Keep up the work and be kind to your body. flowerforyou

When you’re better, seriously think about trying tia chi. happy

I've been in and out of PT over 30 years.

I'm not sure I'll ever get to a pain free day.
Arthritis is eating up my joints..

I'll get along best I can, afraid I've done my body in working hard most my life, plus it's a heredity thing.

Anyway, enough about all that, just bumming me out.

Wheat fields of Kansas are a stones throw away and you get yours from the Netherlands? slaphead

Just kidding. I’m sure it’s awsome if you take the effort to get it. I knew you had to be a good cook. Only a true foodie would do that. flowerforyou

Ugh! Arthritis is a bear! My Aunt has it too. She got hers young also. That sucks! She likes Emu oil for her joints. Ever tried that? I don’t think it’s actually the oil of an Emu. sick laugh

Yes, I've tried just about all of them..

Even numerous anti-inflammatorirs haven't
Helped.

Live with it and try to push through the pain and try to keep active. I love everything about outdoors and used to hike miles, ride horses in endurance races, etc..
But that's just a thing of the past.
