Do you really believe in soul mates? And if you do, what if your not sexually attracted to them, do you think it was ment to be?

I have noticed the jerks are really good in the sex department and the nice wonderful , perfect in every other way , those are the ones lacking in that department , why are us women always punished !

Oh here's one I am good at, not all soul mates are romantic ones, I have a very best friend, a guy, and I would walk on fire for him, but there has never been a romantic thought on either side. I beleive that when you mix sex and soul mates you burn each other out. There is so much energy between the two, that if you add sex to the mix, it is disasterous.

cake and icecream are meant to be, but it doesnt always happen like that, so if your waiting for icecream to come join your cake you might die waiting

I do think soul mates do exsist, but most of the time, I think they are platonic friends. Soulmates are someone who just click and to me, that means my best friend that knows all my crap..

As far as the sexual attraction goes...if you don't want to jump his bones all the time, he isnt your soulmate in the romatic terms.

Don't worry, you probably didnt screw up anything too serious. I dont think karma hates you for not being attracted to him. Besides, attraction is a big part of it, no matter what they tell ya...

Karma has a funny way of showing you the way to good... even on days that Karma takes off. There's more than ONE person for everyone in the world. There has to be. (Maybe I'm grasping at faith here..) The connection with someone that can't be measured or put into words doesn't need to end just because you can't see yourself having sex with him (or her, as the case may be). My mom and dad were friends for 10 years before ANYTHING happened, and they made it through 40 married years since then. I've known my (female) best friend since we were both 6. Nothing sexual has ever happened. But we're destined to always be "together" even if it's not physically. There's a happy medium out there. I know you're not the only one searching for it. Looks are deceiving, and since looks come first, we are often lead astray and end up wondering why we keep meeting the wrong kinda person.

Now thats a tough one. I guess it would depend on anyone's specific definition of "soul mate".

In most peoples view, I would think it would involve being sexually attracted to that person. Mainly because this is the person that is suppose to be "your match" in EVERY respect.

Don't think it would be so great to find someone who is everything, except one area...and sex, at least to most of us, is a major area.

So maybe this helps??? I hope so.

PS..to the woman that wrote to the affect, "jerks are good in the sex dept and the nice guys don't seem to do good in that dept". Try stop looking in the bars/clubs and under all the other rocks. There are some guys, "nice guys" (I HATE that term) that can rock your world 30 ways from Sunday and then some! Some of us even actually study the art! So don't count all "nice guys" out.

I think SOULMATES appreciate us, as we are & we do the same for them.
If they are lacking in ANYTHING, in your opinion.
I question if they are your TRUE soulmate.
My soulmate lacked in nothing & knew I would do anything for her.
Usually knew what she wanted, without her expressing it.
Soulmates just know eachother completely.
