I'm going to "A Star is Born" on Friday.
I watched the Judy Garland version 2 weeks ago. My sister and I went to see 'A Star is Born'---neither of us had seen previous incarnations of the film and did not really know the story. Sooo, we came out of it looking at each other, like 'what was that'?? My sister just said, 'Very disturbing'~ The ending was awful. Real supportive BF/husband there. Not! Could not believe all the people praising it, loving it, shouting 'Oscar, Oscar'!(Only if they give out Oscars on how many close-ups of the two 'stars' they can cram in a movie) Still shaking my head. To each their own. ;-) |
