I just flew in to sunny northern California
this late afternoon with calm blue skies
& a very pleasant 63 degree temperature.

from the blustery cold northwest,
where there were extremely heavy rains
& serious deluges, overflowing rivers
and rushing streams running where there were none
causing severe flooding, accidents
& delays all over the place
and the pilot told us there were gusts
of over 100 mile an hour winds,
and the jet was NOT very big !!!
a CJ700? only four seats across total!!!
so narrow and little to sustain such winds... yikes !

and i was doing some serious praying
and I know that some of you were praying for me, too
thank you for your love and many prayers
my dear friends and loved ones....

I am here by the Grace, Love & Incredible Mercy of God
& I am so very thankful that I have been granted more time
to make peace with all of my fellow men and women
and to spread glad tidings of joy and good cheer,
messages of hope,
warm love & bright light, good will & peace
to all of mankind
and to you,
my blessed brothers and sisters...
& just like siblings,
Sometimes we don't always get along,
and I ask that you please forgive me
if i have offended you
and please give me a chance to start anew...

If you have offended me, i forgive you &
I ask that we start fresh and new,
cause life is short and we might only have today...

So let's all toast with some sparkling apple cider
or if possible, some clear refreshing mountain spring water
to a bright new future & a brand new day of hope & love
of mercy and forgiveness

Glad you made it home safe Vanessa, you are right about the storms, geezzz. The news said over 5 BILLION gallons of rain has been dumped on the Seattle area in the last week, hence the flooding. They have sections of I-5 closed, mud slides, power outages, etc. Hurricane force winds in areas. I am lucky, I live on the Olympic Peninsula, getting pelted by rain and wind, but not like the Seattle area or Kitsap Peninsula, Olympia area, etc. They even had the back end of a school bus start to go into a small sink hole this morning with some kids on it this morning in the Kitsap area. This is the third in the set of storms they predicted. Should let up by tomorrow afternoon I hope.

thank you for stopping by...just getting reaclimated...
it is cold which is a temperature shock for me,
although i am from new england
and grew up building igloos and snowmen,

getting pummeled with snowballs by my Brother
who was like the local celebrity in our neighborhood,
and his merry prankster, musketeer friends
and skating out at on a real lake
that was soooo very treacherous at times
if you venture out too far...

not some hoaky claustrophobic skating rink

it can get pretty darn cold & unmerciful here
too though in northern california
much to some people's amazement,

although it is much quieter
and much much cleaner up north
& wayyyyy more country where Mom & Bro are...
the land of mountains, water & evergreens






my awesome Christian cement-truck driving son
is on his way over to see me after three weeks
It is raining out and he has the day off,
since they try to pour when it is dry out
for the most part.

i must have brought some of the Seattle weather
back home with me
and being the respectful & courteous young man
that he is
he 's going to take me out to run some errands
