Last week I saw a homeless man skydiving...(going thru the garbage for
food). So I gave him a five...!
The next day he was back, doing the same thing...what should be done
about this. They are a problem, especially in the larger cities, should
the government create places for them to live and get on track, and make
it illegal to be a Derilict.

the government does have places for them to go.. most of the people on
the streets dont want to do anything about it. and most of them on the
streets are there because they are addicted to drugs and acohol and when
they go into a shelter they dont want to help themselves.. they want
everyone to feel sorry for them.. and it works! so dont be talking about
them like they cant do anything about the situation they're in.. because
there is always something you can do

I did do something...I gave him five bucks.

Ive helped out a homeless person before. The first time I too gave them
money but I figured it would just be used for a bottle of madDog 20/20.
The next time I actually gave 2 guys some hooded sweatshirts that I
didnt wear anymore. Snacky's right though alot of them take advantage
of the system, its alot easier than having to actually work. They've
been living off the streets so long its normal for them.

snacky is right"O" some of us HAVE lived on th' streets...but only th
strong minds and strong will,and a helping hand,they will pick
themselves up,to try again,those who do nothing for themselvs,may
suredly die broken and alone,and still on those same

good people on the streets, unfortantly.
Factories close up or go overseas, Women get everything in the
divorce, ect.
The popular notion of the homeless being drunks or mentally ill, is
true to a large extent. However, The dumpster diver might offend you but
he may have built your car beore the factory closed. Before you judge
others please look in the mirror. I agree that it is a problem. Dont
know what the answer is but am sure it starts with understanding.

im not talking about you doing something for them.. im talking about
them doing something for themselves.. they dont want to work for their
money. they want it handed to them. now dont agrue with me about this
because i know from experience that thats how homless people are..

I'm not sure. It's pretty sad. What I hate to see if a homeless child
forced to be on the streets by the choice of some adult. That is the
saddest sight in the world. I think something needs to be done, just
not sure what. Someone told me once that it was politically correct to
have poor people b/c they would always work for the lower wages and no
benefits. I didn't think it was right, but it does seem to be true.
Back to the homeless, I think after they nickel and dime many people day
in and day out, they tend to have plenty of money at the end of the day.
I would sleep better knowing I gave just once.

Thats where I disagree, there are things called temp agencies and there
are ALOT of jobs there. True they pay minimal wages but a homeless
person makin 6 bucks a hr shouldnt complain. As for being divorced and
losing it all, I lost everything I owned in my divorce, house, car,
money etc and I didnt end up on the streets. Thats just a weak ass
excuse for someone that either is mentally ill or just fkn lazy.

you can give and give and they will just take and take.. no, i don't
like homeless people because of the way they are.. as far as the
'homeless child' goes.. they are fake, they are people that bring their
children out on the streets and dress them up like acting just so they
dont have to work for their money.. people are scrm these days. i dont
give to any of them.. if they wanted to help themselves they could do
something about it. but only if they really wanted to get off the
streets
