Hey greeneyes, my mother when i was living with her tried her best to
get out of working for her money, and she still does. she will live with
the worst man in the world just so she could get a little more money
into the house. so i know how these people work.

and sushi.. WTF are you talking about.. this is about homeless people
not fkn talking about hurricane victims.. totally different. homeless
people CAN do something about thier situation but CHOOSE not too.
hurricane victims couldnt help what was going to happen.. im sure all of
us helped out in katrina.. hell i even took pillows and blankets off my
own bed to give.. gave away every stuffed animal i had just so some
random little kid would have something to hold at night. so i dont know
what you were trying to imply but you aren't the only one that helped
out there.

and yes.. if i feel it necessary i would give a homeless guy some food
and clothing but i will not give him money, alcohol or ciggerettes..
there are just some things you have to give up if you want to make it.

of course but i wouldnt go out and buy a carton for him.. thats my money
and my hard earned money.. im not just going to go and throw it away
just because someone other than me has a bad habit and cant support it

I have been in the ministry all my adult life and I have been on BOTH
sides of the life of homelessness. I believe EVERYONE NEEDS to be
homeless at least ONCE in their lives! Some people are homeless because
of drugs and/or alcohol...some are homeless because of health reasons,
mentle health reasons, loosing job, some disabled vets, also, are out
there because the jerko VA refuses to help them...there are as many
reasons as there are homeless and BELIEVE ME there are not that many who
are homeless BY CHOICE...Although, I am sure, there are some people who
WANT TO BE HOMELESS. With the USA the way it is getting, we all, soon,
may be homeless. I agree that we do not need to give money to the
homeless, but DO GIVE food and if possible, a place to stay or look up
places for them to get help...but to be cold and uncaring and saying all
homeless people are alike, is very narrow-mind thinking. People who snub
their noses at the homeless or poor people, will one day have to suffer
the same fate...if not here, in this world, then in the
after-life...whatever you do, be it good or evil, will come back upon
you.

Truth.. i really don't think anyone SHOULD be homeless once in thier
life.. and everything i have said is the truth whether you want to
believe it or not.. now i haven't had the perfect life and i've been
through things that people 80 years old haven't been through. so, dont
go saying i'm narrow minded.
