Ah, it was kind of expected. Wishful thinking on my part. back to the drawing board, as the saying goes.

Yeah, I can either go forward, or I can go backwards, I can't make it do both... I will probably have to tear in to the lower unit..
OR, look at this 50hp Mercury engine I picked up today for $50.... it has some fried wires and guy I bought it from got it that way and wasn't going to use it, so he never tried to figure it out. But it's probably a better engine than what I'm fooling with. |

Funny! One of my old supervisors used to call me Wile E. Coyote because I used to repair everyone's computers and would build them from surplus ones for teachers, so I was the "genius".. aka... Coyote.. which is also my Radio name..

That's pretty cool Stu. Now I know who to call if I'm having computer problems NO NO NO! LOL! I haven't worked on one since... 2008 or so... I stopped working on them because it hurt my hands to much fiddling with all the little connections to the MB, and little screws that hold stuff in... and just the headache of even trying to figure out what's wrong so the person didn't loose any data... I despise computers for the most part now...

Well, I'd make an exception.. but things are a lot different in computers now than when I fooled with them. Principles are the same.. just better technology, some of which I'm not familiar with, so I wouldn't feel very confident working on one now.

I had to turn down another job today. It was another ranch position in Wyoming.
 I'm pretty sure I'll be coming back here next winter. Either to snow mountain or Estes. After New Year's though. |
