anyone got any good ideas or info about recording piano/keyboard tracks that sound awesome that is inexpensive. currently all i have is a fasttrack interface and some half ass program multitrack studio (demo version) any info on a good free program to download and maybe some simple ideas i could do and such would be awesome...

I've used cool edit for awhile, it's not free but it works well, I just got a nice Mike and I mike my piano down by the soundbourd. I plugged my keyboards into my computer but got a nasty hum. You need a good mike for sure. You can hear some of the recording that I have done at www.yantraimages.com in the music section, it's still sort of amateur but I et better every day. Nial
