That's kind of a voluminous question. There are all different kinds of relationships.
It's a little bit like saying "What does dinner taste like?" Depends on what you're having, and what your tastes are. There are good ones and bad ones, some make you throw up, some make you full, some you try once and say "I really don't care for this, I'm not doing this again," others where you just can't get enough. To stretch the pseudo-analogy to the breaking point, dessert can go either way. |

sooo many different answers to this one....good or bad relationship. The good ones start by feeling like you're in the clouds. Can't stop thinking about the person, can't stop grinning like a fool when you think of them. Can't wait to see them and when you do it's a rush that sucks the wind out of you. Then you get past lust and it's like you always have a security blanket. You have someone to go with you wherever you're going, someone to lean on. Troubles, problems easier to deal with cause someone's got your back. They begin to know you better than you know yourself and can tell what you're thinking by just the look on your face.
Then when/if things go sour it's like the worst pain in your chest. It's like you've been to hell. Can't stop thinking about them, can't stop hurting. And the pain seems unnatural, like your heart is going to burst and everytime you see 2 couples you want to throw rocks at them. Then things get better. and we do it all again until we find the one who is our companion, kindred spirit, lover, friend, protector, psychologist, care taker. The one who thinks about you more than they think about themselves. The one who loves your little faults and works through your screwups with you. I don't know what that feels like, but I'm sure it's the best that we mortals can hope for with our time on this Earth. |
