No one can say what god looks like without sounding like a raving lunatic to the rest of the world. God looks like how ever each individual sees him, everyone's perception of him is not the same.
To say that ones vision of God is not true is demeaning to that person and to God. |

When I saw this topic, I thought "describe" as in what is his/her function, or "job description" I didn't even think about what "he/she" looked like...must be my Buddhist thought process. I am pretty eclectic, and steal good therories from where ever they may come from.
Here are my thoughts God/ess is the President of the board, he has a board of directors that take care of other areas, and report back to him/her. There is also middle management, and general employees, that is what we are, our job is to make sure that which is fate, actually happens. So what does she look like to me? I don't know if she has a form, but I see her when I look in my daughters eyes, I also see her when I look in my elderly aunt's eyes. I see her in certain people, but not all. The ones I see her in, I cherish. The ones I don't, I dismiss. Everyone has their own view of what their God/ess looks like, and to that person, they are right. |
