Yes, have for a while. I was rethinking it after the last hurricane, but my feet are frozen just from walking the dog.
Figure if I buy a mobile home, I can just leave when I have/want to. Really want to do some inland fresh water fishing there. |

Central Florida would be a good spot for that. Land is fairly cheap and you can usually something with a mobile home on it.

I was thinking something self-contained that I can drive anywhere I want. That whatever I do have don't wind up as rubble.

I'm looking for a more stable climate.. might help with some of the pain issues.

It's either that, or live on a houseboat here.
Just has to be an aluminum or fiberglass hull. |

A lot of houseboats got destroyed or relocated with Irma.
Warmer weather would be nice for you, but it gets pretty darn humid and damp there too. |

Amazingly, nothing of my uncles got destroyed. His trailer was fine too, his neighbors lost its roof. |

There were a few boats that stayed in the water, but they knew good secure places in the mangroves to put it.
I'm sure you'll figure it out. There's a lot of options. |

That's a good idea Eric, he can always use a dinghy to get to little islands and other places on the water.
