Truth is freind, you will get tons of different answers. Simply because everyone is different.

Hell, most people don;t even know what they want, let alone when they find something great they throw it away.

You may go through many searches and find a lot of "wrong" women for you, but thats normal for all of us. Just some are lucky enough to find it faster than others.

Hang in there. happy

Didn't feel like using the whole quote. But the nice guy doesn't have to be boring. I define a nice guy by a caring attitude. How they react and interact with things.

And whomever mentioned that a lot of people can't tell the difference between confidence and an asshole may have a valid point.

Often, when you meet a guy that seems very self-assured and like he has it all together, you later find out that it isn't being self-assured. It is being self-centered, selfish, and full of him self. Often, what he really is full of is ****.

But it takes a little while to realize that. By that time, you've invested something of yourself into a person and you get hurt.

Everyone had a different idea of Mr. Right because we all need and want something different. Since nearly everyone wears a mask then they are meeting people and getting to know people, it takes time to figure each other out.

It is just life. Not wrong, not right, it just is.

This whole dating thing does suck though. After 14 years of Marriage I have found the world is a totally different place for a Single Guy.

Well.. No doubt. I went through that too... Yes, the world had changed in appearances, surface stuff. Different clothing and styles. Music... Since I was first getting to know my Ex. However, human nature, people, for the most part...did not change all that much. What changed was me. So, I chose to not date for a few years and get to know myself. I learned to be good company to me, first. In an effort to possibly be good company to someone else. Anytime I feel myself thinking in generalities about the world at large? Something within me needs work...not the world.

What I have discovered, by talkeing to women is that most women can't really tell the difference between confidence and being a jackass/cheeater/jerk etc so they think that they are the same thing untill they get into a relationship.

Nice guys are only boring if you consider jerks exciting lol :)

Wow, I didn't know us women were that stupid. Thanks for the heads-up.grumble grumble

Not meaning to trash the guy due to his youth... but I too thought I had the world figured out at age 18. The older I get, the less I know. By the time I hit 70, assuming I get there... I should be an utter idiot.
