I was with someone for 6 years and we havent been together for over a year now. And i have been doing ok, but recently he has been trying to talk to me like crazy, he even sent me flowers twice this week. I havent acknowledged anything he's done so far but he just wont stop..

anyone have opinions on this?
yea, tell him nice flowers, but we are through, so your wasting your time and money, and if you dont stop, i will get a restraining order on you.

ok maybe i should be more clear on this.... I do still love him and i always will but its not about giving him another try, i dont want that and i already know.

The place i am in now is a good place and i have been doing good. I tried to ignore him when he first started trying to contact me but now its getting to be too much. I guess i just dont want to be mean, its a hard situation. And the more i aviod him the more i feel like a cold person.

Clearly, you know that you in a better place now and it doesn't include him. And the flowers seem to indicate he wants you back.

I agree that sending a note to thank him for the flowers but remind him that things ended for a reason and you don't want to go back to that.

Don't let it make you feel bad if you don't ever answer him or contact him again. It doesn't mean you are cold. It just means you have put it behind you but he hasn't been able to do the same.

This isn't your problem. It is his. There is no reason to feel bad that you were able to move on when he wasn't.

Any opinions? for what? He's being a clingy dumb ex. Are you asking "how do i get him to stop?" what is it that you're looking for?

cheif i was asking if anyone had been threw this. and hearing other opinions helps. Just cuz he is an ex doesnt mean he doesnt have feelings and same for me.

i was in a 6 year relationship as well, couldn't stand her. We haven't been together for about 5 months, she found out i've been with another girl somehow, probably stalking me or something, and she went insane because i guess she isn't over me yet.
