Still scrobbling my music Shortly, I'll be adding all the newest movies I've gained to my tracking document and posting the newest additions to the forums where I have the on-going list posted. Need to get more coffee in me before I start all that typing tho.

Having coffee Checking in at the websites I frequent. Still scrobbling my music Gunna go to the store today to pick up a few things. Got a hankering for some gas station cajun catfish for lunch. Still working on not smoking. Figured out you can smoke bread sticks if you bite off both ends. Then, after you smoke them a bit, when you eat them, they taste like toast. Same with pretzel rods.

thinking this might just count as quitting by substitution Figured out you can smoke bread sticks if you bite off both ends. Then, after you smoke them a bit, when you eat them, they taste like toast. Same with pretzel rods.

You should see the looks I get when I light up and smoke a pretzel, too much fun! "No, not him, the other guy...the one that was smoking pretzels" "Pretzels?!!?" "Yup, I laughed so hard I forgot what I was mad about!"

Just watched The Shape of Water (2017) and The Beyond (2018) The Shape of Water was okay for a scifi w/romance but was slow and uneventful. May or may not watch it again this year. The Beyond was a certainly science fiction and the documentary style of filming was a turn off but after sticking with it I found the concepts it introduced about Human 2.0 and a Type 4 Alien lifeform imaginative. Will definately watch this again this month and probably multiple times this year.

At the music site Last.FM there is an app you can download that automatically list what music you listen to. I have the Windows Media Player one. When you play a song, it brings up data on that artist, album and song. Once the song has played at least halfway, Last.FM remembers it. Scrobbling is recording your music information to an online profile. Here is a look at the Scrobbler panel. I can click on the components on that panel to open a Last.FM data page. At the top right of the panel is a line with OS. As you play the song, that line fills with red. When it is full, it has been recorded to your Last.FM account as part of your collection/listening history. This allows Last.FM to suggest people with similar listening preferences of which you can friend. It also allows Last,fm to suggest music to you based on your listening history. There is also a feature that allows you to play your music from online anywhere on any device "Play Your Library" (as long as last.FM has a stream of that song available. (I think they use spotify). It also allows you to play recommended radio based on your loved tracks. This is my Last.FM profile, have a look (its free) http://www.last.fm/user/tomishereagain Right now I have: Scrobbles 55,558 Artists 941 Loved tracks 5,889 It lists my top artists, albums and songs based on number of plays. I use it as an online record of my collection. I use it to find new artists. I use to to show my listening and my collection by linking to my profile. I do a zipped back up of my music about every two years. I use it to track my backups. I scrobble my entire library while I am checking the accuracy of my collection before I zip the archive. Last.FM scrobbler shows error if I have the title, artist or album wrong. It is also a dependable source for album art and track listing sequences.
