I'm feeling all emotional today. It was my choice to start working here instead of being with family and friends, so I'm okay with that, I guess.

But now I'm starting in a new place and won't be around the people I've met over the last week and a half for Christmas either. I'll be working 10 hours on Christmas day, so will miss the Christmas dinner that they are having at the cafeteria.

And none of the stores are opened before I go to work. My finger popped out of joint from an old injury, I'm sore, and totally feeling sorry for myself, lol.

But, I will be okay as soon as my little crying spell passes.

No, the creek has very rarely gone out of its bank here.. Other places around the area are having some flash flooding, nothing bad yet..

Good thing I don't have to go far.
