The "once a cheater..." statement is nonsense. There are differing degrees. And different circumstances. This crazy hard-line is stupid and disallows any sort of understanding.

every situation is different

People make mistakes, life gets all messed up.
We got counseling, worked out our problems & found what we had lost. Gave us 3 more years before she died.
Each case has to be considered on it's own.
Never regretted the work & pain we went thru, to bring us back together.

Cheating, no. But if the breakup was over something different and you later came to understand what was causing the issue, then sure.

i don't believe there is any good reason or excuse for cheating....and if there was reason - you probably shouldn't be together anyway!

I think I understand what you implying with the "trust" issue..but the word FOREVER kinda rattles my cage...please, no offense to you and your thoughts...I just believe in forgiving and forgetting....ya know, let by gones be by-gones...I don't agree with "cheating" however, we are not perfect...and I don't believe in channeling energy in the not forgiving department....
Mayhap I'm naive that way, but it is what it is...
Have a good night..flowerforyou

No. Once a cheat, always a cheat.
