Topic: "10 Common Traits that Kill Happiness" | |
---|---|
Happiness comes from within first if your not happy no one can make you happy~~~~
As far as relationships it is not I or U it is We~~~ you no longer think for just yourself there are others to consider when making decisions...But if the other person is not happy with themselves then it will bring down a relationship~~Therefore at times one may need to encourage the one they are with to see their true worth.. Relationship is all give and take situation....it takes both to make it work... As far as I'm concerned no book or guidelines will help if both are not willing to give 100% each to make it work.. |

Thanks for the post Tom. I should print that and read it daily. You're welcome Stuball63. I don't have it printed but I do have the source site...Appleseeds bookmarked on my speed dial. The site has many inspirational snippets like this that help provide clarity and contentment. I read them a lot. Happiness comes from within first if your not happy no one can make you happy~~~~
So True TxsGal3333. What gets me is that so many people don't know this or have forgotten it. Such a simple concept that can set the temperature for any situation. While I agree with this, I must point out that the OP intent is to help someone find happiness in themselves, not a relationship thread, per`se but something that can lead to better relationships. Pepinofruit's Teamwork post has more to do with relationships (which is also good info to consider). See, if we can get ourselves right, it affects how we are with others. If we can attain inner peace and happiness it radiates out to the relationships we form. It switches things from mundane or negative into the positive. As for helping someone else, its like a drowning person trying to help another person not drown. Our inner peace and happiness gives us the foundation that is sturdy and strong that allows us to pull the ones we care about up out of the bad and into the good. As far as I'm concerned no book or guidelines will help if both are not willing to give 100% each to make it work..
Agree but there are times when we want to make it work but don't understand how to make it work. The book or guideline, opinion or advice might give us the tidbit of missing info we need to make the correct adjustments that do work. |
