Today, at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month marks the 99th anniversary of the end to hostility in ww1
This is a list of the more than 50 commonwealth countries (uk controlled ) that sent men to fight for the freedom of Europe. 20,000,000 killed and some 26,000,000 injured. The us joined in later but not sure of their loses. The poppy is the symbol of remembering those who have fallen in every conflict since. So, if you feel like posting a poppy on here, just leaving your thoughts or just taking a minute to think then feel free. Antigua and Barbuda Australia Bahamas Belize Botswana Bangladesh Barbados Brunei Cameron Canada Cyprus Dominica Fiji Ghana Grenada Guyana India Jamaica Kenya Kiribati Lesotho Malawi Malaysia Malta Mauritius Mozambique Namibia Nauru New Zealand Nigeria Pakistan Papua New Guinea Rwanda Saint kits Saint Lucia Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Somoa Seychelles Sierra Leone Singapore Solomon Islands South Africa Sri Lanka Swaziland Tanzania Tonga Trinidad and Tobago Tuvalu United Kingdom Vanuatu Zambia. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. Today is also veterans day in the usa |

Respect! My Grandfather lost his life as a pilot. Only 21 years old. Thank you, it's sad they were so young. When you see the graves over there some are as young as 16. |

My grandfather fought ww1 in Europe, then again with the 8th Air Force in ww2.
Dad was in Korea. Salute to all that have served. |
