The home is shaping up and a little more cozy. Still have lots to do, but I'm working on it, slowly by surely

Other than that, I'm just working on finding a nice little adventure to go on.... There's places out West with employee housing, so I figured three or four months of seasonal work at one of them would be fun.

No, and it doesn't really make sense to go there only for 10 days or so. That's a lot of paperwork for them and kind of a hassle for me. It just would have been nice to get away for a bit.

But that gives me more time to prepare for the colder months, as far as clothing, so it's all good.

The places I'm looking at are Colorado, Arizona, and Montana. Not sure about Alaska, a little too cold, and the internet access there sucks

Most of the places I researched in Alaska said don't count on having a good connection.

There's a place in Tuscan that looks nice, a couple ranches in Colorado, and a few places in Montana.

I've been to Arizona quite a few times, drove through a lot of it, and lived in Phoenix for a short time. When I was a young teen, I spent a month in Tuscan with relatives, absolutely beautiful there. I love the energy in Sedona, and I really like Tuscan. There are places around and at the Grand Canyon as well.

i never made it to tuscan, and though i tried last time out, i've not been to the canyon since i was about 3

I was around eleven when I stayed out there. It was pretty nice, went to Mantezuma's Castle and the Grand Canyon. Sixteen years ago I ventured out there by myself and stayed with a friend for a bit. Got to see even more of the State, it really is diverse and beautiful there.

I've always wanted to hike down the canyon and camp out. That would be really cool.
