yes there is love without sex...though sex is necessary to make a relationship steady and somewhat secure..it is not necessarily needed to maintain the relationship..there are many much more things above sex on which a relationship lies:)

Eros and agape, as well as philio and storge.

According to some psychologists there are about 7.
Eros, agape, philio, storge, and pragma, ludus, philautia.

And different people have other categories. Such as religious (differentiating from agape one god vs. altruistic group) and manic.

Kinda depends on what you want to believe and how technical you want to get.

How would you like your life if you couldn't masturbate in any way whatsoever? Mental, emotional, physical, etc. No sexual thoughts, no self gratification, no emotional bonding with others in a sexually charged way.

Other than that, there is no real reason for monogamous romantic relationships without sex/pair bonding.
There is no pair bonded love without sex.
You are biologically driven towards (and supported when you fulfill the process) pair bonded love since it leads to babies.
