I believe in that "Oh so wonderful feeling" that sometimes happens when you meet someone and have an instant connection... like you've known each other your whole life.

That feeling is often mistaken for love when it's not.

I've met couples who have been married for years and say it was love at first sight. After speaking with them for a while, they admitted that it was that oh so wonderful feeling in the beginning, but the actual love came through sharing a life together....it grew over time.

so true p i think the closest you can get to love at first sight is when you a true soulmate. which i think is what you just described

Humm some call it love some say lust and some say it is a strong connection.... Call it what you will...

But at times the lights just seem to shine and you get that feeling deep within that is the person I'm going to be with either for a long time or a lifetime which every it may be~~~~~

i believe love on first sight, it happened almost to every one, sometimes you connect with the persone to quickly, you didn,t even know, it feel like you can spend the rest of your life with her.

Yes, I agree Eric. The key word being "true". I believe some are so much wanting to someday meet their soulmate that they create things in their own mind. They later discover it was the "idea" of that person being "the one" that attracted them, not the actual person.

I used to believe exactly this way TxsGal, a lot of hard knocks a long the way I guess changed it for me. Somewhere deep inside is still that dreamer though.... waiting patiently to resurface

But mostly scared to death and continues to stay hidden

scared should only help to keep from getting to tangled in the ones that were the idea of not the ones that are.

One thing in life I have learned is never say never and never give up on anything you believe in no matter how small or big....

Even tho I'm not searching for that one, if and when it was to happen again I'm grabbing on with both hands... It would have to be a pretty strong connection for me to do that.. But still believe some day it just might happen again... And if it don't then so be it... got to keep the heart open with some protection to stay safe~~~

I love the way you put that. And I haven't reached the point of saying "never again", so maybe some day it will happen, if not, that's okay too.
