The implications of FOSTA.
Specifically, FOSTA setting precedence that restricts 3rd party links on websites. Right now, its geared to prevent sex trafficking but it may 'pave the way' for the government to dictate all website content. It may come to a point where nobody can post an image, video or hyperlink on any website they do not personally own or control. There is always someone, somewhere that takes offense at anything. Essentially, the government is trying to take away your "Right To Click". Its attempting to dictate your own personal moral standards. Once they have control of the content you are 'allowed to see' the next step is taking control of the comments you are 'allowed' to make. One day, the internet may become one-way information only. No more forums, no more facebook, no more twitter, no more comment streams. FOSTA in and of itself is a good thing but it sets us up for even more governmental control of our own personal preferences. Watch and see... |

I could not agree more Tom, it has been slowly happening for years, by the time it´s in place as they wish it to be, most people would not have noticed, it´s all about control, and it´s not confined to the internet, freedom of speech will be a thing of the past. |

I'm thinking or wondering how the heck I'm going to fit everything in my two suitcases. Mostly the three throw blanky's I have. Consider mailing some of it... Edit to note that the US Postal Service has prepaid packages where if you can fit it in the box, its one price. Not sure on the costs tho. |

You're welcome!
I've done it, before they offered flat rate. Sometimes its cheaper just to mail the box regular but without priority. You can still insure it and still have it confirmed at delivery but with larger boxes that are light (Like blankets) it might be cheaper. Another thing to consider is rolling your clothes inside the blankets, Rolled tightly, takes up less space and keeps them from wrinkling too much. |
