I'm heading back home from my work place. It was worse than I imagined. There's trees down every where, including one of the really big ones I liked. Got escorted into the property to get my stuff out of my locker, so I was able to see more.

I was thinking about 2 months for repairs, but it's going to take a lot more than that.

The trip down there was unbelievable. Piles and piles of sand along the highway and broken up homes and other debris.

Wow. Sounds like things haven't even started in your area. May the sorting begin.

No, the HR guy had said before it will take months, I thought maybe he was exaggerating or something. But seeing the extent of the damage, he wasn't.

Good morning Integ waving

The middle Keys didn't even open up til a couple weeks ago, so basically yeah, they are just beginning. First step is to clear and remove all the debris, then they can begin with repair work.

Yesterday the church of ladder day saints called and met me at the house. They came to help clear the one side of the house and the fallen tree.

It was a family of 13 ranging from ages 12 to 70. An incredibly amazing experience to watch these people helping because they want to, and without expecting anything in return.

The came down from North Carolina to help people in the Keys.

A lot of the local work places are up and running. A few resorts are open, but I suspect a lot of the guests are disaster victims getting temporary shelter.

I'm seeing a lot of people working outdoors cleaning up. That's good to see.

Yep, seems like when you bring it along, it doesn't rain.

Just checking all the different states that the owners of my work place have properties. There's several along the East Coast. From Florida all the way to Vermont. happy
