Yes, a lot of stuff in the house is fine. The rug needs to be pulled out, and the floors fixed, but everything else seems fine. I haven't been able to get into the sheds yet, but it doesn't look like anything is any good. And I'm not sure about my washer yet. I'm a little nervous to try it. It was tipped to the side and leaning on the dryer, and half of it was under water. Nope, that washer is scrap babe |

I got it from K-Mart and was making payments. |

did you finish before the warranty ran out???
|

That sucks... I wouldn't try it, but if you let it dry out a few weeks, it might be OK IF it was fresh water. Salt water no good... still, even if in fresh water I wouldn't want it

as long as the board or the motor didn't short. tho i would open it up and air it out for a bit.
tub and pump etc will be fine after a couple of empty heavy bleach washes |

did you finish before the warranty ran out??? Yes, I was leasing it and just paid the last payment so it's mine now, but it hasn't been a year yet. I will call them today to find out. The flood water was both fresh and salt. It was up on a slab and tipped sideways. The inside looks pretty clean. |

salt water will eat and corrode the electric stuffs if you can get it open a good rinse w/ fresh and a good dry out might save it

Hi Stu, Pisces, and I know Eric was heading off to work. Which I will be soon also.
Going from what was asked in another topic. I'm doing fine. Just been reading books more than getting on Mingle. Thanks for asking Pisces! |
