Not been up that way for years, Scotland still has some nice forests, we have one about 40 miles away, Thetford forest. Lakenheath and Mildenhall are there.

The country was covered in big oak trees to, but not so much now as they are so slow growing. shame. All the houses used them from the old days.

There is a pub in a village not far from me that was built from the oak timber houses that were destroyed in the great fire of London back in 1666.

That was a big steel industry area plus coal mining, Hence the brick work looks dirty from the soot |
