No babe, I mean in living there at all? Oh, I misread your last post. My eyes aren't quite focused yet. Wondered why you asked when I had just said where we were Because right now I don't have very many options or the resources needed to move somewhere else. Plus I want to help my sister get things taken care of before I up and move. It doesn't feel right to leave right away and leave her with the mess. Although at times I would like to, she's high maintenance, but it wouldn't be right. |

Right now I've been working in the resort industry, as a concierge, only outside. I take care of the adult pool area. I help guests with reservations and handle complaints when they have them.
I have a degree in psychology and have worked in special education as a substitute teacher, and also worked in health care and run away shelters. There's not a lot I can do though with a BS degree. Especially here in the Keys. |

Hummm... I dunno...lost my job basically because all the sudden I had to have a BS degree... so I wasn't qualified to do a job I helped develop and had done for years, but yet, I was asked to train the new guy... and, that's all I got to say about that here. Ask me for whole story in person.

My oldest son was a special needs child as well. I've had training years ago, but no professional credentials that qualify me to advance beyond entry level positions. |

But that could get you in on an administrative level in a school system that could provide decent pay, insurance and pension. Basically what I lost... but again, not here will I explain it all. |

Basically it's the same time it was for you. Some of those places require you to get certified or have a higher degrees. I have all those things with my position in hospitality, plus the opportunity to advance without having to go back to school or present a piece of paper that says I am qualified. In another location it might be something I would consider, but not here in the Keys. |

Got to talk to my youngest son last night, him, mom and joey were on the way to Kings Island. They are big horror and Halloween fanatics and the Scary Kings Island Park is opening this weekend. All decked out for Halloween. I'm thinking about trying to take a few days and go up for Halloween...
