Hey Pisces, meant to tell you, they didn't put a cast on the kid, he has 4 bandages. Amazing what they do in medicine now. Used to be you'd have a cast to your hip or more with a break like that. I guess it will be a few days before I get to see him. They need to rest and adjust and I still need decompression. I'm not a doctor but sometimes they will do this until the swelling has gone down this let's the leg swell, if in plaster the injured leg can't swell up causing problems with blood flow.

I'm good Mikey, thanks for asking. We got our motel room yesterday, so don't have to jump around from place to place now. It's not the resort we were going to stay at the other day, they didn't have their FEMA process in order. But it's a really nice local resort that's been here for years. A mom and pop kind of place, so much better and more cozy. How are you doing?

Omg, I've only just got over it! Getting to old for those late nights lol Omg 2 just seen pictures on tv about the keys. single track road with the national guard on it! It looks very trashed!

Ahhh... thanks Mike, I wonder if she knows this and just not telling me.. idk about her anymore unfortunately. But then, I really don't deserve the time of day from her.

It's unbelievably trashed. The further South you go the worse it is. Just ten miles down the road there are piles of debris in the median and along side the road. Furniture broken up, appliances, mattresses, parts of people's homes, and so many trees down. It's really sad Barely recognize some areas now.

We just found a FEMA approved motel in Key Largo. A lot of places will accept FEMA but with some you have to pay up front and wait for FEMA to authorize it. It's not an option for people who have no resources to do so. It's a nice little place on the Bay. There's a pool but we can't go in it because the water down here is still bad.
