It's a general standard question and I would like to read and learn from others.
I understand the Psychological factor and not only, but still,,,, your opinion is? |

My view is that hate has evolved from a defence,or attack mechanism
when we were hunter gathers. I'd think that animals need to have this for survival. |

..damn, can't think of a decent reply...still, here's my best:

Hate Is an inside job. People that hate are in hiding and denial about themselves. The project (their hate) to "protect" the very foundation of who they are on a sub-conscious level. Hate has nothing to do with the hated It's all about the hater. Once a person truly accepts him/herself for all they have come to know The world becomes a different place. Thank you so much. This is the answer I was looking for. And yes I absolutely agree that behind a gentle heart, mind and spirit be it men and women there is always a hidden drama, memories brought back from the past, future and present and we learn a valuable lesson. Thank you, PJ. Welcome to the forums. |

everyone has their motivations or "reasons" for their hatred of whatever it may be...
for me to genuinely hate something or someone I have to despise it's very existence a complete disdain for it rather see it dead than breathing there's levels to hatred everyone hates paper cuts or flies buzzing around their heads, the random annoyances of everyday life and then there's the mentally disturbed who hate for no substantial reason other than they're f%#&ed in the head and then there's pure hatred, no matter what this person or thing may do if the day ever presents itself u will leap on the opportunity to end it's existence because try as u may have u see no value or use in it's existence and u feel the need to destroy it for me its mayonnaise I hate that s#@t |

Generally people who hate actually hate themselves or something within themselves. Rather than deal with their own internal conflict, they turn it outward.

Silly me. I was thinking of the real reason not the modern day interpretation! It's nothing to do with your inner self! It's the actions of others again you or other people. Unless you a terrorist or just plain crazy, then someone or something is telling you how to act! |

Generally people who hate actually hate themselves or something within themselves. Rather than deal with their own internal conflict, they turn it outward. Often times I think people have been hurt and there is always a psychological internal/external scar we all have, it's part of us, it's who we are.. some learn to live with it, some will be successful and some will be forever condemned to never learn and move on. Thank you. |

Unless you a terrorist or just plain crazy, then someone or something is telling you how to act! Sir, please don't apologize. It is a valid point. Thank you so much. Its the action of others, it's the action of us. It's us! |

I feel that anyone with the capacity to Love also has the capacity to Hate.
I see hate as the extreme opposite of love. There are no people in my world that I truly hate. Mostly because I don't know them well enough to hate them. There are a few people that I dislike for a few different reasons mostly pertaining to some wrong I believe they did to me when they didn't need to but for the most part even those people are distant and sporatic. Hate consumes you much like love does. Hate causes stress and decreases your ability to find contentment. It breeds negativity and destroys your inner peace. For a long time I lived in a world of hatred towards some people. I realized that it was a world of my own choosing. I figured out that I can not-like someone but hating them served no real purpose and the hatred was controlling me. I made an effort and gained control of myself and the hatred slipped away. |

Yin and yang In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another... |
